| Book | Price per contact1 |
|---|---|
| Apollo | $3.60–$5.40 / contact w/ phone |
| ZoomInfo | ~$3.00 / contact · $15k/yr min |
| Clay | $185/mo min · per-step credits |
| DicedBest odds | $0.09–$0.178 / lead · no minimum |
1 Method. Apollo: 1 email credit plus 8 phone credits at $0.40–$0.60 each, so $3.60–$5.40 per contact. ZoomInfo: about $3.00 per contact ($14,995 for 5,000 credits). Diced: $0.09–$0.178 per lead, from the Scale plan to the 500-chip pack, with no phone surcharge. “~94% cheaper” uses our highest price, $0.178 on the 500-chip pack: 1 − 0.178 ÷ 3.00 = 94.1% below ZoomInfo, and 1 − 0.178 ÷ 3.60 = 95.1% below Apollo's lowest. Against Clay we claim no monthly minimum, no per-step credit math, and intent data, not a lower per-lead price. Not every lead has every field: phone, email and the rest are included when available. Competitor prices are from public pricing pages and published reports, checked Oct 2026; subject to change.
What's a chip?
Chips are how you pay. 1 chip reveals 1 lead with every field we have for them, phone included when available. Searching, counts and previews never cost a chip, and a lead you've already revealed is free to see again.
What does “intent” mean here?
Intent means a person or company has been actively researching a topic in the last 14 days. Each lead is graded 🔥 Hot, Warm or Cold by how strong that signal is.
What's the difference between Consumers (B2C) and Businesses (B2B)?
Consumers (B2C) are people shopping for themselves: solar, insurance, a new car. Businesses (B2B) are professionals researching for work: software, services, suppliers. There's also People, a plain search by name, location, job or company, with no intent required.
Do chips expire?
Pack chips last 12 months. Plan chips roll over for one month, so each month's chips last until the end of the next billing period. The 25 signup chips last 30 days.
What if a lookup doesn't find anyone?
Then it's free. Enrichment only costs a chip when it matches.
Is there a contract or a minimum?
No. Packs are one-time purchases and plans are month to month. Cancel whenever you like.
Can I use it from code, Claude or ChatGPT?
Yes. Everything in the app is in the REST API and the MCP server, and saved audiences can push new leads to any webhook, including Zapier, Make, n8n and Clay.
What can't I use Diced for?
Anything unlawful. No credit, employment, insurance or housing decisions (FCRA), no calls or texts that break TCPA or Do Not Call rules, and no email that breaks CAN-SPAM. The acceptable use policy has the details. Read it here.
